Open link in new Window from TPL

I want the link to open to a new window from a generated tpl, but its not working - something to do with the target="_blank" command.
Code is below:

(This is contained within a iterate loop)

TPL is a script that runs on the server side and generates the output which might be a html, jsp, asp, ...

I am not sure what you are doing so could you be more specific.

The Problem lies in this line of your code.

If you see carefully... what i built as qoute pairs are restricting the parser to understand the code properly.

Is the window opening at all? You snippet seems to be right. Its a vague thought but, do you havea ny sort of popup blocker on your pc. Plese check on it.

If you see carefully... the pairing of the code is not done properly. Please go through the line i have attached as i think there is some problem with devnet which is not allowing to put in the HTML code.

Placing the target='_blank' in single quotes doesnt work either.

Note that I am trying to do this thru preview (dont know if that makes any difference or not)

I dont think so... it should make a difference to function. But still if you can provide us some brief detail about as what happens ... after clicking on the link you want to open in a new window?

On the page, images are shown in a scaled down size, but we want to give them the ability to click on the image which will open a new window to display the image in full size for better screen resolution... Right now, it just opens in the same window.

I believe you need to make the highlighted changes:

Everyone was looking at the quotes as being wrong - but were misreading the code - the quotes were for href and were in the wrong place - the use of curly brackets within angle-brackets is generally more correct (although I believe PTs will tend to do the right thing anyway).

Got it to work this time. Used "<" instead of "{" for the src part of the code.
